
Marrianne Bridge, FCPA, FCA, B Math
A member of the CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors since February 1, 2015, Marrianne Bridge was formerly Deputy Director, Compliance, Strategy and Risk in the Compliance and Registrant Regulation Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission.
From 1995 to 2014, Marrianne was actively involved in the CPA profession as a member of the Council of the former Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario (ICAO) (now Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario), as a member of the Management Advisory Committee, and as Chair and a member of various Council committees. She was also previously Chair of the Discipline Committee of the ICAO.
She has also had various volunteer roles with not-for-profit entities such as the Canadian Cancer Society (Ontario division), Community Head Injury Resources Services of Ontario, and St. John Ambulance Council for Ontario Resources Committee.
Marrianne graduated with a Bachelors of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo in 1981, obtained her CA designation in 1982 and was appointed a fellow of the ICAO in 2009.
Currently, Marrianne serves as the Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Conduct Review Committee and is a member of the Governance and Nominating Committee of CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors.

Amy Bryson, BA (Hon), BA (Hon), LL.B, ICD.D
A member of the CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors since May 8, 2008, Amy is currently the Chair of the Board. She is the Director of HBA Recruiting & Admissions at Ivey Business School, Western University. Prior to taking on this challenge, she practiced corporate commercial law in London, Ontario, for 12 years, 11 of them with McKenzie Lake Lawyers LLP. Her experience in corporate law, financings, and mergers and acquisitions in the insurance industry, is an invaluable asset to the organization.
Deeply committed to her community, Amy served for nine years as a Director and held various offices, including President of Main Street London Revitalization Organization. As well, she served for many years as a member of the Better Business Bureau's Charitable Review Committee and is a former member of the Ministry and Personnel Committee at Metropolitan United Church. Currently, she serves as a member of the Huron University College Executive Board, is Chair of its Governance Review Committee and also serves on its Governance Committee.
Along with her role as Chair of the Board, she currently sits on all committees of CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors.

Reta Coburn, MBA, ICD.D
A member of the CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors since May 2, 2013, Reta Coburn is the founder of Aspiring Leaders, a boutique leadership coaching and business consultancy firm. Reta’s career prior to this has been primarily focused within the title insurance industry but has included professional services as well. She has held a range of roles, including COO of a leading Toronto law firm, President of Fidelity National Financial’s Canadian business and executive-level roles both with Fidelity’s insurance underwriter and Stewart Title Guaranty Company.
Reta completed the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program and obtained her ICD designation, holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Business and a Management Studies diploma from McMaster University.
Reta is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Conduct Review Committee of CAA Club Group's Board of Directors. She is the Chair of the Board of Orion Travel Insurance Company and is a member of both the Orion Audit and Risk, and Orion Conduct Review committees. Reta also sits on the Board and Committees of Echelon Insurance.

Jean Desgagne, CPA, CA and ICD.D
Jean Desgagne is a corporate director, consultant and advisor to several startups. He is a Director, Treasurer and Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee of CPA Ontario.
His former roles include President & CEO, Global Solutions, Insights & Analytics and President & CEO, Global Enterprise Services both with the TMX Group. He was also the President & CEO of the Canadian Depository for Securities. He has held a series of senior executive roles in Global Financial Services organizations including TD Bank, BMO Bank of Montreal and UBS. He has served on the Boards of a number of firms including the Canadian Depository for Securities, Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corp, TSX Trust, and Trayport Ltd. He sits on the Boards of a number of startups including World Compass and Luminari.
Jean is actively involved in the community, serving on the Board of Governors of Junior Achievement of Central Ontario and has served on many other community Boards. He is Chair of the Toronto Deans Advisory Board for the Telfer School of Management.
Jean has a Bachelor of Commerce from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, and has completed the Fintech Program at the Said School of Management at Oxford University. He is recognized as a CPA, CA and ICD.D. He was awarded the Trudeau Medal from the Telfer School of Management and the Queen’s Jubilee Medal.
Jean is the Vice-Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and Chair of the Conduct Review Committee of CAA Club Group's Board of Directors. Jean also sits on the Board and Committees of Echelon Insurance. He is the Chair of the Conduct Review Committee and the Vice-Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of Echelon.

Rehana Doobay
Rehana Doobay is a senior Human Resources leader with over 20 years’ experience in corporate HR roles. Her leadership of Human Resources departments at Baxter Corporation, Shoppers Drug Mart and American Express has contributed to her breadth of experience. Her business expertise spans Financial Services Healthcare, Information Technology, Retail and Sales. Rehana has worked in global organizations embracing the benefits of a diverse workforce; her broad experience enables her to bring a wide knowledge base to business issues.
Her ability to partner with senior leaders in building team effectiveness, corporate culture and promoting a talent mindset are key assets in supporting her business colleagues. Her international experience enhances her ability to view challenges from multiple perspectives. She is driven by her passion to help organizations and individuals achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Rehana enjoys community involvement. She serves as Chair on the Board of Yellow Brick House and was former Board Chair at 360Kids. She has been an active community volunteer through a variety of non-profit organizations and events. Rehana holds a Bachelor degree from the University of West Glamorgan and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University. She has pursued excellence in HR and leadership through the CHRP designation, programs at the Michigan University and the Rotman School of Business.
Currently, Rehana serves as Chair of the Human Resources Committee and is a member of the Governance and Nominating Committee of CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors.

Bill Furlong, ICD.D
Bill Furlong (Ivey MBA ’87) is a senior financial services Executive and Regulator with 25+ years of experience, leadership and achievement in Canadian and International Capital Markets. In January 2019 he completed his final term as a Commissioner at the Ontario Securities Commission where he held responsibilities related to Board Oversight, Policy and Adjudication, and was Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee.
He previously held global, senior leadership roles at TD Securities where he retired in 2012 as Vice Chair. Bill is currently an Executive-in-Residence at the Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership at Ivey Business School, writing, presenting and lecturing on Leader Character to students and business leaders across North America and the U.K. He is also Vice President of the Board of Eva’s Initiatives, an award-winning charity operating in Toronto providing services to homeless and at-risk youth.
Currently, Bill is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Conduct Review Committee of CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors. He is a director on the Board of Orion Travel Insurance Company and is a member of both the Orion Audit and Risk, and Orion Conduct Review committees.
Paul Jacuzzi, MBA
Paul joined the CAA Manitoba Board in 2014 and served as Vice-Chair until 2016. He is now a member of the CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors.
He is CEO of Waterite Inc., his family-owned manufacturing and distribution business headquartered in Winnipeg. His 35-year career has been spent primarily in the commercial plumbing and waterworks industries in executive management roles. These have included: Vice President Sales and Marketing, Mueller Canada Inc.; Vice President and General Manager, Clow Canada and Executive Vice-President, Watts Industries (Canada), Inc.
He has extensive experience in CNC machine shop and foundry management, collective bargaining and labour relations, mergers and acquisitions and in directing national marketing and promotional campaigns.
His other Board experience includes:

Sheila Kingston, BSc
Sheila Kingston is an Underwriting Consultant, providing underwriting and risk management services to the life insurance industry. She retired in 2014 after 38 years in the life insurance industry having held leadership roles in underwriting, claims management, new business operations and customer service. In addition to leadership roles in the insurance operation, she was a key member of the team responsible for the automation of the sales, underwriting and procurement process for life insurance as well as corporate initiatives such as Business Continuity Planning.
Sheila holds a Kinesiology degree from the University of Waterloo, is a Fellow of the Academy of Life Underwriters and a Fellow of the Life Insurance Management Institute. She served on the Canadian Institute of Life Underwriters Executive as Chair and held positions on Industry Committees in the U.S. and Canada. She is a member of the local United Way Cabinet and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Maltby Centre. Sheila has also worked on various committees as a volunteer.
Currently, Sheila is the Vice Chair of Human Resources Committee and is a member of the Government and Community Relations Committee of CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors.

Bill Ladyman, MBA, CIM, FMA
Bill Ladyman joined the CAA Manitoba Board in 2005 and served as Chair from 2012-2015. He served as Vice Chair from 2010-2011 and has Chaired the Executive, Public & Government Affairs, Investment and Merger Committees. He has been on the CAA National Board since 2014, where he has been a member of the Audit and Governance committees.
Bill joined the CAA Club Group Board of Directors in 2016.
Bill is a Portfolio Manager and Financial Planner with HollisWealth Wealth, a division of Industrial Alliance Securities Inc. There, Bill works with his clients to help them accumulate, grow and protect their wealth. Bill has been building his practice across Canada over the past fourteen years.
Currently, Bill is the Vice Chair of the Governance and Community Relations Committee and a member of the Manitoba Advisory Committee of CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors. He is also a director on the CAA National Board.

Janet Lafortune, BA, AICB, C.DIR
A member of the CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors since 2009, Janet Lafortune is a partner in Lafortune & Associates, located in Peterborough, Ontario, consulting in the areas of marketing and strategic planning. Janet also serves as a Board Director of The Stewart Group, which operates facilities in North America, Europe and Asia, providing global customers with a wide array of products and services.
Janet’s career highlights include 21 years with PepsiCo/Quaker Oats Canada where she held positions including V.P. Marketing, Director Information Services, and Operations Services Manager. She previously held progressive management positions with CIBC.
Janet is a past Board Chair, Peterborough Utilities Inc., and was formerly a Director of City of Peterborough Holdings Co Inc. Janet holds the designation Chartered Director, having completed the Director Education program through The Directors College of University of McMaster’s DeGroote School of Business.
An active volunteer, Janet currently sits on the Board of Trustees of Lakefield College School. Past directorships include United Way of Canada – Centraide Canada, Showplace Peterborough Performance Centre, Performers for Literacy (Toronto) and Hospice Peterborough.
Currently, Janet serves as the Vice Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee and is a member of the Human Resources Committee of CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors. She is also a director on the CAA National Board. Janet also sits on the Board and Committees of Echelon Insurance.

Heather Reichert, FCPA, FCA
Heather retired from Manitoba Public Insurance as Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in February 2017. Before joining MPI in 2012, Heather held the position of Deputy Minister of Advanced Education and Literacy with the Manitoba government. She has also held senior roles at Manitoba Health, the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, the City of Winnipeg and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
In her CFO role, Heather was responsible for the Corporation's financial activities, including financial policies, actuarial services, reserving practices, strategic planning, investments, reinsurance, purchasing, budgeting and financial reporting. Her division was also responsible for providing strategic oversight and management of the Corporation’s premises and real estate investments, as well as data analytics.
Heather was awarded the inaugural Canadian College of Health Service Executives Leadership Award for exemplary leadership skills and commitment to excellence. She is currently the first vice-chair of the board for the Chartered Professional Accountants of Manitoba. Heather’s other community involvements have included: member of the Board of Governors for the University of Manitoba and Past-President and member of the University of Manitoba Alumni Association. Currently, Heather is a member of the Finance committee and Board of the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation and Chair of the Finance and Administration Committee and member of the Board of Trustees of the United Way of Winnipeg. Heather is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants (FCPA, FCA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (honours) degree from the University of Manitoba.
Currently, Heather is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee of CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors. Heather also sits on the Board and Committees of Echelon Insurance. She is Vice-Chair of the Echelon Board, and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of Echelon.

Anthony Salerno, BA, MA, MBA
A member of the CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors since 2010, Anthony Salerno’s extensive career in the public sector includes a number of senior positions with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of Finance, including CEO of the Ontario Financing Authority. In the private sector, he was Managing Director of Government Investment Banking at BMO Nesbitt Burns and has also served on a number of Boards in both the private and public sectors.
Currently, Anthony serves as Chair of the Government and Community Relations Committee and is a member of the Governance and Nominating Committee of CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors.

Ethel J. Taylor
A member of the CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors since May 2, 2013, Ethel has over 30 years of experience in retail management and leadership development. Ethel began her career with Sears Canada, holding various positions, including her appointment in 1984 as Canada's first female department store manager. After progressive management roles, she was appointed Senior Vice President and Officer of Sears Canada.
Ethel later joined Black's Photography as CEO. During her tenure as CEO for Black’s, she led the management group in the sale of the company to TELUS in September 2009. Ethel retired from Black’s in 2013.
A graduate of Ryerson University, Ethel, her husband and son reside in the Toronto area. She is a past director of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and Retail Council of Canada. In 2004-2005 and 2007-2008, Ethel was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Women.
She is a past director of the Trillium Health Foundation and is the Chair of the Board of Espera Cooper NA.
Along with her role as Vice Chair of the Board, she is currently the Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee, and sits on all committees of CAA Club Group’s Board of Directors. Ethel also sits on the Board and Committees of Echelon Insurance.
